Kia Ora, Ko Michelle tōku ingoa also known as shellbellz. Ko Taranaki te Maunga, Ko Patea te Awa, Ko Whakaahu-rangi ahau, Ko Mahi Kaiwhakatau-Manuhiri. Hi My Name is Michelle, also known as Shellbellz. Taranaki is my Mountain, Patea is My River, I live in Stratford and I work as a Receptionist. I recently completed a Te Reo Course so I am placing this what I hope is a relatively simple Mystery Cache to promote the language, and one important part of the Māori culture is the knowledge of where you are form hence my mihimihi. The Cache is placed somewhere in the taone (town) of Stratford. Tīkina (to get or fetch), koe (you) will need to solve this relatively simple puzzle.
ki runga: toru tekau mā iwa, tekau mā iwa, waru rau iwa tekau mā toru
ki īta: kotahi rau whitu tekau mā whā, tekau mā ono, iwa rau whā tekau mā whā
If you've got the right co-ords, there should be no cries of auē (cry of distress, concern or something bad). It would be nice (but certainly not necessary) if you could incorporate some Te Reo in your log, my go to website is www.maoridictionary.co.nz
And finally to finish:
Ko te pae tawhiti, whāia kia tata. Ko te pae tata whakamaua kia tina. Pursue your distant goals until they are close. Take hold of and secure those that are close.
Ngā mihi
When going to GZ, please park on the side road which has ample parking and there is an obvious entry to the area. Do not park on the obvious main road and try to shortcut through here, as the shortest route could see you in a bit of trouble!
