The school that you see from the GZ is on land once known as Darnell's Sylvania, first surveyed in the late 1600s. The land passed through several owners over the next 3 centuries, eventually bought by Baltimore County in the late 1960s. The school was built in 1992, 1 year after the adjacent Senior Center opened. The first principal was Karen Schafer. This school is the newest ES in the Perry Hall area, though it is now 25 years old.
THE PUZZLE: Several years ago, during a slow caching period, Wizard found 100 caches in 5 days. He found 52 total caches the first and second day, 43 total caches on the second and third days, 34 on the third and fourth days, and 30 on the fourth and fifth days. How many did he find on each day?
To find the cache, multiply the number of caches found on day one by the number of caches found on day five. Subtract this product from the posted latitude, after the decimal. For the longitude, multiply the caches found on day four by the number of caches found on day two, then add the number of caches found on day three. Add this number to the posted coords, after the decimal.
