This cache is hidden in the Collier-Seminole State Park. Open the the public 365 days a year 8:00am until sunset.
You will have to pay a small entrance fee.
There is a place to camp over night for tents and campers alike. Boat ramp, canoeing, picnic area and nature trail with boardwalk and a observation platform overlooking the salt marsh.A great place to spend the day.
There were some mosquitoes the day I was there so you should bring some insect repellent with you just in case.
The hike in will not take you too long, the cache is about 4 to 5 feet up on a Strangler Fig. Oh, when you get off the trail,be careful of where you put your hands like grabbing vines, they have long sharp thorns on them and they can really hurt.
Please do not step on any live growing vegetation, help protect our state parks so we can all enjoy their beauty for years to come. If you see trash along the way, please pick it up.
Thank you Firecat....
