This is a small cache with only room for a logbook. We came across this old bridge whilst traveling on the old Larnaca/Nicosia road. The bridge has flood lightning (although I can't confirm whether it works at night) so we thought it must have some importance. We have tried to investigate its history but without any success. We can only assume that it was built some considerable time ago and designed to take the weight of packed Donkeys. If any cachers have any further information about this bridge please include it in your log.
There is no need to actually climb down to the bridge as it can be seen easily from the cache location. The cache is situated on a sweeping bend in the road so, for safety reasons, please park at the pull ins at either end of the armco barrier and use the rough path beside the road that leads to the cache location.
