Miniloh

Dostop do prepadne udorne jame ni označen.
Če najdeš to svetišče narave, bo dan poplačan.
Miniloh
Miniloh is a karst attraction, specifically a karst sinkhole. We can descend all the way to its base on a path paved with green moss. Miniloh charms you with its grandeur as it leads you into the depths of the underground, right at the doors of the mysterious depths of the Rog.

It is located above the village of Koprivnik (German: Nesselthal), the roots of which go back to prehistoric times.
Access to the sinkhole is not marked. On one side there is a sheer cliff, but you can approach it from the other side, where it is accessible. During rain, the descent can be slippery, so caution is advised.
If you are a botanist at heart, your visit will be especially interesting in late spring, when brown orchids (Orchis fusca) and related reddish-brown orchids (Orchis purpurea) grow here, which are endemic species.
The name Miniloh, the original name of the sinkhole, will remain a mystery forever. You will be enchanted by the porous stone masses, a richly adorned ceiling, and the moss and lichen coverage. The cave ends with a sinkhole ceiling that was carved into the depths millions of years ago and blocked the path to the mysterious world of Rog.
The location is accessible by car on a dirt road. Follow the direction of Mirna Gora, then follow the coordinates. The forest road will lead you to Janez's hut and somewhere in between you'll find the cache.
There is no parking available near the cache, but because the dirt road at the end is not passable, we recommend that you leave your car by the side of the road above the location of the sinkhole for the duration of your visit. There is no cell service at the location, so we recommend that you save the cache on your GPS device or phone in advance.
