The Lambourn Valley Way was originally used for Christian Aid sponsored walks between the churches in the Lambourn Valley in the 1970s. The route now starts at White Horse Hill and takes you all the way in to Newbury. A distance of 19 and a half miles or 31 kilometres. The cache is not at the published coordinates which are for a seat that has been placed to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the walk. You will need to visit the seat in order to work out where the cache has been hidden.
On the seat you will find a plaque. On the plaque is a date which we shall call AB/CD/EFGH. The cache is hidden at:
