From the carpark at the end of Falls Road, Whatitiri Track leads over a grassy picnic area into a paddock, then descends via a tractor track to cross Waitakere Stream. You do not need to cross the stream, but more adventure awaits the brave that do.
After finding an amazing little waterfall just a short walk down this track, the team decided it will be a great place for their first hide.
The cache is near the road, but do look around the corner and explore the hidden little waterfall running into the Waitakere Stream.
