Geocache Description:

Having recently placed our first geocache nearby we were encouraged to place some more.

Continuing along the path out of Hazlehead Park you soon find yourself sandwiched between two golf courses. On the left is the 9 hole parkland course and on the right is the Hazlehead No2 (or Pines) course. The path network continues around the courses.

It appears that the golfers have been following their favourite pastime in this area since prehistoric times. If you are lucky you may discover some of their lost ancient equipment lying around.

Tigericus Woodicus was competing in the neolithic golf championship over the Pinus course near Devana. Unfortunately he was ill prepared and did not take enough equipment with him so when he lost his final tee peg mid round he had to admit defeat and concede the championship to the veteran local champion Robbicus Shepherdicus.

Jiggery Pokery? Aye!
