Geocache Description:

Part of the Indiana County GeoTrail .... This cache was stolen and we have just replaced it 10/30/2020 with a smaller cache.

Floodway park is an integral part of the Homer City community, and a prime example of how flooding affects development. Once a developed part of the town, the area was converted to a park after the 1977 flood. The park borders the Hoodlebug Trail, which runs from Indiana, PA to Black Lick, PA.
