Geocache Description:

 Saint Catherine

In the northwest part of Nicosia Cyprus may be found the church of Saint Catherine. It is a monastery dependency church, (“metohi”), of the monastery of St. Catherine, Mount Sinai in Egypt. It was built by the archbishop of Mount Sinai monastery Damianos in1983. This church was made as a replacement for a metohi that is now under Turkish occupation near the city of Vasilia.

The church of Saint Catherine is blessed to have a small portion of the relics of St. Catherine the martyr.

Being that there is a permanently based priest-monk on behalf of the monastery, in Egypt of St. Catherine, services are performed every Sunday and all major feast days throughout the year.

Αν ξεκίνησες τώρα το Geocach... Μερικές συμβουλές δεν καταστρέφουμε δεν πετάμε και γενικά δεν τα σπάμε αν δεν καταφέρουμε να τα ανοίξουμε αν δεν τα βρούμε κοίτα με την συμβουλή τι έχου γράψει αυτή που τα βρήκαν η ακόμα και απο τις φωτογραφίες αυτές που ανέβασαν κάποιοι... Το geocach όταν προσπαθούμε να το βρούμε προσπαθούμε να μην μας δουν γιατί έχει ανθρώπους που δεν γνωρίζουν τι είναι και μπορούν να το καταστρέψουν να το πετάξουν εάν σας δουν... Σεβόμαστε τα geocach για να μπορούν να τα βρουν κι άλλοι άνθρωποι όχι μόνο από τη χώρα μας αλλά και από όλες τις χώρες από όλο τον κόσμο γιατί είναι ένα παγκόσμιο παιχνίδι... Στα Κουτιά δεν θα βρείτε χρυσαφί ή λεφτά είναι είναι ένα απλό παιχνίδι απλά για να βλέπουμε περιοχές να ανακαλύπτουμε διάφορες τοποθεσίες όπως σημεία με θέα αρχαιολογικούς χώρους και μπορεί ακόμα και τίποτα ή μπορεί να σε κάνει να περπατήσεις διάφορα μονοπάτια... Στα κουτιά εκτός που μπορείτε να βρείτε το χαρτί για να υπογράψετε ότι το βρήκατε σε κάποια κουτιά μπορεί να περιέχει μολύβι μπενα ή κάποια μικρά αντικείμενα μπρελόκ και κάποια μικρά παιχνιδάκια αν μας αρέσει κάποιο από αυτά παίρνουμε και το αντικαθιστούμε με κάτι άλλο... Στα κουτιά επίσης μπορείτε να βρείτε διάφορα geotcoins η trackable τα συγκεκριμένα δεν τα κρατάμε για εμάς ταξιδεύουν σε όλο τον κόσμο, όταν τα βρούμε γράφουν έναν κωδικό αυτός ο κωδικός είναι για να δει ότι το βρήκες ή ότι τον παίρνεις και το βάζεις σε άλλο κουτί... Καλό είναι να μελετάμε ένα παιχνίδι πριν το αρχίζουμε. Αυτά από εμένα.
