Geocache Description:

Every winter we try to get up to Mount Lemon to cross country ski. This is the trail we usually ski. It is a wide road, would be an easy hike too, although at 8500 feet many of us can feel the elevation.

You will be most of the way to the top before you make the turn marked 'Bear Wallow' and it is just a couple of hundred yards up the trail. We tried to hide it high enough that we could find it when there is snow cover. You can drive right up to the cache in normal weather, but this road is never plowed.
