Geocache Description:

A cache placed very near the top of Thark Ridge, when I placed the cache it took me 3 hours to walk (while searching for caches) from the listed parking Coordinates on Pinnicle Road but only 1.5 hours to walk back out.

So if you are just going for this cache allow 3 hours for the trip but allow extra if you are searching for the others along Thark Ridge Route.

Thark Ridge offers 360° views of some of the best Wellington Park has to offer.

From the summit you can on a clear day see Mount Wellington, South Wellington, Mount Montagu and Collins Bonnet, the views are well worth the walk and I hope with this caching bringing you here you get good weather and can see that it is worth it.
