No, it’s not Remembrance Day, Christmas or Boxing Day, New Years Day, Arbor Day or even Groundhog Day. The HAG is coming…are you excited! It is a magical time! The figuring, the calculating, the placing and the finding are all parts of the magical season; we call the HAG. This year it is all about the MAGIC!
It starts in February and so many good reasons to participate, like: 1. You can try out your raincoat to see if it is still waterproof. 2. You have a really good reason for a timmies stop. 3. You can bushwack in heavy rain, wet bushes and puddles the size of small lakes. 4. You just might get a FTF. 5. You can find out if your car will get stuck in that pothole/mud. 6. You might earn a whacky trophy. 7. You get to rush around and be competitive. 8. You get to pull your hair out on a Skramble puzzle. 9. You get to search for hours for a cache that got carried away in a storm. 10. You get your feet and a lot more wet. 11. You really appreciate the “heat” in your vehicle. 12. You get to go for new geocaches and bump up your stats. 13. You get to go to new places, caches and events. 14. You get to see how resourceful/creative your fellow cachers are. 15. You get to celebrate in March and see who had the best of ….while sitting at a pub with a drink and burger. So aren’t you excited! I sure am!
