St George the Martyr, Scackleton
Dating from early in the 20th century, this delightful little church is a daughter church of Hovingham, serving the small village of Scackleton. Recently re-roofed with pantiles, it is approached through a rustic porch.
This tiny church in a North Yorkshire village has recently hosted only the second wedding in its 100 year history after the Archbishop of Canterbury granted a special licence.
