Geocache Description:

Here is another edition in our puzzle series providing you history of various towns in SE Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

N 41° 46.[A-7]BC W 071° 28.DEF

Much of the land that is modern day Cranston was purchased by Roger Williams from the Narragansett Indians in 1B38 as part of the Pawtuxet Purchase.

The Town of Cranston was created in 1D54 from a portion of Providence north of the Pawtuxet River.

After losing much of its territory to neighboring towns and the city of Providence over the nineteenth century, Cranston itself became a city on March 1E, 191F.

The first auto race track in the country, Narragansett Park, located off Park Avenue, opened present-day Stadium Ball Field in September 188C as a trotting track.

The Thomas Fenner House, built around 167A, is one of the oldest houses in Rhode Island.

The cache's hiding spot should be obvious upon arriving to GZ. Hope you enjoy.
