Geocache Description:

Combine a pleasant stroll, jog or cycle with a relatively easy find where gum trees whisper and frogs sound their delight.

Gardiners Creek Trail offers a myraid of experiences. This section of the trail runs between Highbury Road and High Street Road and goes through Ashwood and Burwood.

If you come at the right season you might not have to listen too hard for our amphibious wetland dwellers in this tiny billabong. Magpies, Wattle birds, pigeons and Australian miners are easily seen and heard throughout the year while superb blue wrens have been seen occasionally. I spotted a couple of black cockatoos once even.

There's a playground just a few minutes away from this cache for little feet. Parking is available in nearby streets.

This cache is only a few metres away from a well used footpath by many people. Bring your dog if you want to look less conspicuous especially when venturing off the beaten track.

This cache is a plastic container which will fit in the palm of an adult hand very easily.

Peter Rabbit who has been known to get into all kinds of tight scrapes would not have too hard a time getting into this one. But will he get out, that is more the question.
