Ta Shan park is a small, but very pretty park close to the center of Shaoxing. It is well worth a visit with pathways and waterways running through it. At the top is the YingTian tower (cost = 2 Yuan to visit) which is worthwhile seeing. While in the area, feel free to sample some of the traditional Shaoxingese cuisine. The site is easily accessible by bus, taxi, or walking.
Shaoxing is a small city in Zhejiang province. It is a very famous city for Chinese people although most westerners will probably not have heard about it. It is known as the home city for a variety of famous Chinese writers and poets. The city has canals running through it and also has many parks to walk about in. I chose TaShan park for the cache because it is often overlooked by visitors but is worth visiting. The tower at the top is a pagoda which is about 600 years old.
