In small communities, there are quite a few folk that serve a vital role, whether it be in their occupation or how they participate in the community.
Jim McEnlly was one such man in Blackall. For nigh on 50years Jim managed the Blackall Club. He always wore a white shirt, black trousers and black bow tie. He always patrons as Sir or Ma’am. He kept the Club meticulous.
Jim had a passion for tennis. He played regularly and for many a year he coached youngsters and they learned to love the game the way he did.
Now you know about this wonderful man, you’ll understand what this park has it’s name.
