The walk itself is only about three and a half miles or so and is a mix of footpath, heather hillside and the odd boggy bit so proper footwear is needed as is proper clothing to cope with the weather, and a map - in fact the normal stuff you should wear and use in a mountain environment.
As mentioned this is a very simple tour Wherigo to make it as accessible as possible (no complex decisions to make or questions to answer here) which will take in 'The First in Wales' cache along with some other spots (including the 'Rock in a Hole' cache) and will finish with a cache of it's own to find. There is also my 'Foxhunter' traditional cache too so it's like four caches in one!
I have waymarked the Foxhunter car park for you but it's right next to the start point (along with my 'Foxhunter' cache).
Some Things to Note:
1) I'm sure you know, but to find the cache you will need a Wherigo compatible device with the relevant software installed such as compatible GPS units and smartphones with the relevant app.
2) I haven't tested it on a Garmin GPS (because I don't have one) but I have tried to make it compatible with them - any feedback welcome with that.
3) You will need to download the cartridge HERE
4) I found the pictures within the Wherigo work better when you do not have 'stretch' or 'large' on in your settings (but that might just be me!)
5) It's a peculiarity of the Wherigo platform that the Completion Code it automatically provides you with only works on Wherigo.com if you just use the the first 15 digits, not the whole code (bizarre I know!)
The cache is a small to medium-sized container with room for a few bits and bobs.
Have fun.
