Geocache Description:

I love geocaching and Geohubby loves kayaking, so when there is a kayak cache we are both kept happy! We have paddled in the North Pine River on a number of occasions, but the day we placed this cache together with Billy the Geopooch in tow, we decided to paddle downstream from Leis Park, starting from the boat ramp near AJ Wyllie Bridge. We'd never been down this stretch of the river before and it was really lovely. We set out just before high tide and soon found ourselves in Yebri Creek. Wow! It was so peaceful and quiet, it almost felt as though we were in times past. Hmmmmmm, this could be a good place to put a kayak cache

There is a lot of tree cover at GZ, so be prepared for a little GPS bounce, but using your geosenses it will be an easy find. The container is small, so you will need to bring your own pen and no swaps please. Safe and happy paddling, and as always when you are in the mangroves - don't forget the insect repellent!
