This cache is a 350ml screw top container with some small swaps logbook and pen with room for Trackables without large attachments.
This is a testing Forestry Commission walk which has a view point from the summit of ‘The Urie’. Urie Loch is set in quiet moorland. Look for the small grass-covered island in the loch it is in fact man-made to encourage red-throated divers to nest, if the weather is pleasant it is a great location to rest, have a picnic and observe the wildlife. The walk starts at the Dyemill. which is at the foot of the Ross road. There had been heavy rain during the night and in the morning before I set off for this walk as a result it was quite muddy, wet and boggy in places so waterproof footwear is recommended. The walk is about 4 miles and it can be done in 2.5 hours. Allow more time for exploring or taking a more leisurely pace.
