Welcome to the Possum Creek Gorge section of The Cumberland Trail. This is a series of 8 caches that involves an intermediate 6.5 mile hike, creek crossings, and mild elevation changes in a beautiful Tennessee forest. For this series, we hiked south from the Retro Hughes trailhead about 3.5 miles then doubled back just after crossing Little Possum Creek.
