Geocache Description:

While working on the MA 351 Challenge, my family and I stumbled upon several decommissioned military tanks serving as monuments to our veterans. Somewhere along the way we made it our quest to find all of these across the state. We had a great time researching and visiting these locations and decided to create this multi for those who might enjoy a similar challenge.

Our mission took us several months to accomplish so expect this multi to take some time to complete. You will need to visit 10 locations across Massachusetts to collect data for solving the puzzle. Some of these locations have traditional caches nearby, so be sure to grab those as well while you're in the area. Use the information gathered from each waypoint to solve for the location of the final. Nothing tricky here, just the satisfaction of completing the quest and seeing some very cool sights along the way!

The posted coordinates point to the Collings Foundation, a private, non-profit educational foundation located in Stow, Massachusetts. It was founded in 1979 by Robert F. Collings and Caroline Collings with a mission dedicated to the preservation and public display of transportation-related history. As of 2013, the Foundation has taken in Jaques Littlefield's military vehicle collection, the largest privately held collection of historic tanks and military artifacts in the world. It is not necessary to visit this location to complete this adventure, but it may be a point of interest to tank enthusiasts.

The final container is a full-size ammo can stocked with toy tanks and soldiers. Please do not leave food or other items in the cache that may attract animals. Based on the difficulty of this cache I recommend you do not leave trackables here.

I encourage you to share pictures of your adventures, but please take care not to post any images which might compromise the integrity of this quest.

Update: It has come to my attention that the answers to several of these stages can be found online. While I would like to discourage this, I recognize that each cacher plays this game his or her own way. For those of you who decide to complete the challenge as intended, please include photos of you and/or your GPS device at each stage to document your visits. I will give special recognition here to those who legitimately complete the quest. Happy hunting!
