A Heiau is an ancient Hawaiian Temple. This land which you see and walk upon is sacred. The Heiau is surrounded by the lush green grass and rocks. *PLEASE DO NOT MOVE ANY ROCKS IN THE HEIAU* Please be respectful to this area. You *DO NOT* need to enter into the Heiau to find and access the cache.
This hide was quite a challenge. We came to O'ahu, Hawaii for a family vacation and it was our first time here! We decided to leave a cache here. Little did we know that the original GZ was too close to the "AFO-Sea Life Park" puzzle cache and since we live in New Mexico it is too far too maintain. When our time was finished on O'ahu and had to return home and the cache was sitting there for a month with no published listing. Few tried to find and move the cache, but it didn't work out. Finally, (CacheAngel+) was willing to be the third person to find and move the cache. Well third time is the charm and that proved to be true. (CacheAngel+) hid this cache in the most amazing, remarkable and memorable location. This is a double team cache and all the credit goes to (CacheAngel+) for finishing this hide for us.
