butterley lane cache Traditional Cache

a simple cache

this is a straightforward nano placed on butterley lane which runs between butterley corner, the site of the old ironworks and hammersmith. the cache is placed between hammersmith meadows nature reserve managed by amber valley borough council and butterley reservoir part of the canal and rivers trust. butterley lane while driveable is not a smooth driving surface but there is a parking area just past gz mainly used by fishermen. alternatively good roadside parking is available on butterley hill about five minutes walk from gz. while butterley lane is not busy you might encounter occasional vehicle traffic so care should be taken of children and animals. tweezers might be needed, please message us with any concerns and happy caching.
