We love to walk the Cascade Trail. There is a small parking area by one of the trail entrances at Healy Road. If you park there you can hike both east and west to pick up a few caches! This is a wonderful trail for a relaxing walk since it is along an old railway bed and there are no steep hills, the path is wide and relatively smooth. The scenery is calming with wooded areas, fields, birds, a few hikers and walkers and bikers and we see evidence of horses but have very rarely seen the horses. It's close enough for us to decide that we want a walk at the last minute. We hope you'll enjoy this great trail as much as we do and enjoy picking up a few caches along the way.
