Geocache Description:

Barton-le-Clay is a village in Bedfordshire, and has existed since at least 1066 and is mentioned in the Domesday Book.  Barton Hills are in the South East of the village, which form the northeast extremity of the Chiltern Hills.  Much of this area of chalk downland is a Nature Reserve.

There are some lovely walks around here and surprisingly few traditional caches, so with placing my very first cache here I'll attempt to change this.  If you're travelling up the path and you reach a concrete block, then you've gone too far.

Just opposite the cache location you will find the 'caves', where tree roots have formed holes that look like caves.  A once popular location for my minion, and you'll regularly see me running around here at the weekends.

Please beware of muggles when retrieving, and replace carefully as found - thank you :)

**** UPDATE **** When replacing the cache I moved the location slightly, and I have updated the coordinates. Hopefully it'll be a little more weather proof now too!
