Kilmaurs is a small village in Ayrshire with a population of around 2600 inhabitants. It is situated about 21 miles to the south of Glasgow and 3 miles from the centre of Kilmarnock.
This cache, "Jih", is the fourth from a series of 4 and lies adjacent to Crosshouse Road, near the Glasgow to Kilmarnock railway line just outside the village of Kilmaurs. The container is medium sixed and is large enough for a logbook, short pencil, small items and trackables. You may wish to bring a pen. This cache is called "Jih" which means the compass direction "South" in the Czech language. We have Czech family roots so this seemed appropriate!
