It’s a funny container that you may have seen before. [Update April 30, 2019: The funny container disappeared and has been replaced with something more common. The original container was a case for a dental mouthpiece or realigner.]
So here’s the story: A few months ago, we went to check on Who Knew There’s A View? (GC6NPKM). That one needs the right kind of container to blend in. But we found that the $3 key case we placed there had been replaced by this container. It’s obviously something someone got for free with a purchase, but they took the time to modify it for the purpose. Isn’t that weird?
So did someone steal our $3 key case – which they could have purchased just a few miles away? Or did they damage the key case – hard to do – and then decide to replace it rather than tell us? Whatever the case, we’ve been carrying this case around for a long time and finally decided to give it a home.
If it was yours, feel free to replace it with a $3 key case. Just mention it in your log. Otherwise, this whole story won’t make much sense.
