The Interior of Inés er skabt af kunstneren FOS (med det borgerlige navn Thomas Poulsen) og er blevet til med finansiering fra Statens Kunstfond, Aalborg Kommunes kunstfond og SIFA. I tårnet indgår mange forskellige byggematerialer, blandt andet beton, stål, træ og glasfiber.
Er det kunst? Tja, hvis ikke man kan lide tårnet, så kan man da nyde udsigten fra det; og det kan man vel kalde brugskunst ;-)
The art tower The Interior of Inés officially opened on October 10, 2017, and is located in Vestre Fjord Park, which opened earlier the same year in connection with the DGI Landstævnet. The tower is 14 meters high and is open to the public. From the top you can enjoy the view to open-air swimming pool in Vestre Fjordpark, Limfjorden and Egholm.
The Interior of Inés was created by the artist FOS (with the given name Thomas Poulsen) and has been funded by Statens Kunstfond, Aalborg Kommune art foundation and SIFA. The tower includes many different building materials, including concrete, steel, wood and fiberglass.
Is it art? Well, if you do not like the tower, you can enjoy the view from it.
