Portarlinton is one of my favourite places to bring my family. When I first came here there was only the old wooden pier, now there is all new concrete piers and a rock well break that lets the kids swim in a shelted cove. We also enjoy bringing our kayaks down here for a paddle around. My favourite place to go in the kayak is under the old wooden pier, it's like a magical world under there. There is a ferry that comes from melbourne twice a day that docks at the new pier.
To access this cache you will need a kayak and go into the magical world under the old pier and find some treasure left by a pirate. Please be careful of the barnacles under the pier as they are sharp and as always be safe when enjoying the water, Wear a lifejacket and don't attempt when the waves are rough.
