This geocache has been hidden in the woods off a trail on the cross country course at Lyons MS and HS.. This cache has been hidden with permission of the Superintendent of School, Donald Putnam. Permission to find is also granted. A letter stating permission has been granted is also in the cache. Most times it will be very quiet here.... springtime softball may be the busiest.
This is part of our 2nd Period, 7th and 8th grade math class project. We looked at a map to see how far it is from school, and how long it would take to walk to GZ from the school building.
We also checked out the weather forecast to see what day would be best to hide the cache. We also talked about latitude and longitude. We are making predictions about how many people will find it and how often they will.
No caching at night.... please re-hide exactly as you found it! Trade fairly! Bring you own pen! We did predict that it would take someone 2 days to 1 month to find our cache (only took one day!). We predict that anywhere from 2 to 11 people will visit it this school year. We also dropped a travel bug off and predict it will travel between 56 and 100 miles this school year.
