This is a new trail, called Newhall Pass Open Space, which is accessed off of The Old Road. There is plenty of parking and the trail is a nice wide fire road which is fairly steep at the bottom but becomes a little more level up on top with some great views of the Santa Clarita Valley and the San Fernando Valley....on a clear day you can see all the way to downtown L.A. All the caches are dedicated to my son, Lux, who is 2...and one day (hopefully) will be a geocacher...and enjoy hiking and exploring as much as I do....so enjoy your hike and the caches along the trail.
