Oh, it’s so nice to travel this trail. Beautiful no matter what season it is. Spring with new growth emerging. Animals coming out of their winter quarters and scurrying about looking for new buds to eat. Animals crossing the trail, being startled by bikers, hikers, and runners as they enjoy the trail. Even an occasional turtle running across the trail. Well, he thinks he is running. Summer brings more squirrels, rabbits, deer, birds, and butterflies, along with lots of bugs. Brush getting so dense you could hide and elephant in there and not find him. Fall brings out the beautiful colors. Birds heading south, flocks of geese and ducks heading to a warmer climate. Leaves falling from the trees and brush. Making it easier to see the squirrels, rabbits, deer, that have been there all year long. You just haven’t seen them.
