Why is this such a pleasant area for a stroll? Well its all industrial wasteland from the old salt mining days, transformed into a natural area, and the Old Warrington Road is no longer a through road for vehicles. You can still drive partway along here to the carpark, but only during certain posted hours, so make sure you don't get trapped in behind the locked gate! But the cache is accessible 24/7 as its still a public road for walkers and cyclists. If the gate is shut near the recycling centre, you can park on the roadside there and its a very short walk to the cache.
Container is magnetic, and not much point in giving a precise hint, as I'm sure it will migrate slightly with people not putting it back in its proper place. It's gone missing a couple of times, so replaced with something much harder to spot even though its hidden in plain sight. And yes you can sit on it, and take pics......
