Update November 2020. The Big Blue Building has been completed and opened for a number of years since I placed this geocache. The area is no longer a building site, just very....blue (with smatterings of yellow). Over the years this geocache has gone missing far too often so I have replaced it with a different container in the hope it doesn't go AWOL too often.
2017 - From first appearances this may seem a fairly boring place to put a geocache - but you would be wrong! From this vantage point you overlook a building site which has seen rapid changes since the beginning of 2017 and will see a lot more before the end of 2018. If you are a fan of Swedish meatballs, flat pack furniture or little pencils that are great for geocaching - this spot marks the arrival to Exeter of a certain Scandinavian shopping experience which is like no other. Eagerly awaited by many Exonians and Devonians, the big blue building will have a huge impact on this little corner of the world.
The geocache can be found on a public footpath/cycleway. It is not accessible from the A379 road. STEALTH WILL BE REQUIRED. Please be very careful when returning the geocache for reasons which will be obvious once you have found it.
