This is the same cache location with a new cache box, book, and
contents. In fact, this is cache #3! The original version was
totally destroyed by rain water, the second was apparently
stolen.
To find this cache, take exit 175 on I-40 and go south on
Highway 337. Follow the curves for nearly 3 miles until you a reach
the big parking area off the side of the road. (This is a popular
place to head off on a hike or bike ride, so there is a definite
possibility that there will already be another car or two
here.)
Enjoy the scenery before you start the hunt! Hike down into the
valley and take the western fork in the trail. Warning: The trail
is extremely rocky. When you begin to approach the correct
longitude, start looking for a clue.
The cache is located somewhere on the hill on the south side of
the rock-trail. It is nestled amongst some rocks holding it in
place. A few rubber tubes mark the spot.
the cache is a clear rubbermaid tub. It's a small-medium sized
tub, please try to bring something small to leave behind.
