Fishing Boats of Cyprus...Agios Georgios Traditional Cache

A number of villages within the Paphos district have started utilising old fishing boats to add interest and draw attention to their locality.

We thought we would like to create a series of caches to lead you to these places.

We started with four, but have added others as we’ve discovered them.

None of the caches are located on or around the boats themselves, usually within about 20 - 30 mts.

This is the sixth in the series, but we are cheating slightly as this boat was the original cache at Peyia, recently moved whilst road works are taking place. (The original cache remains in place for the time being.)

There is plenty of room for parking, but it will be busy in season as people visit the church, the nearby restaurant and look down over the harbour.

The cache is a jar containing initially a log book, keyring, marble, clothes peg, smiley face and a small memo magnet for the FTF.
