Please wear blaze orange during hunting season. You will need some proper hiking shoes because some of the trails are a little rough and can be muddy after a rain. We've placed some caches on all of the trails -- all trails are mowed, but some are a little rough (lift your feet so that some of the vines don't trip you up). The caches in this greenway are not fancy -- they are not necessarily clever hides or creative containers. We just wanted to get you to take a little hike in this nice area.
This cache is on the blue trail. We had the pleasure of meeting the Eagle Scout, Joseph, and his Dad who were creating this blue trail and the other trails as well. A job very well done including the very cool bridges they built over the brook.
Coming from Lazy Brook, the blue trail starts just before the bridge. Coming from Summer Rd. take the yellow trail and just before the bridge the blue trail starts on the right. This is a regular lock -n- lock in an obvious spot.
