White house at the Y in the road
Sometimes where there is a Y in the road, you'll find an old house that endures through the ages to further the tradition of Scouting. This unassuming white house on the corner hosts many Girl and Boy Scout troops meetings every week. Nestled among some of the sprawling old homes and churches in downtown Elgin, some of the architecure you pass and the distinctive trees will be a treasure in and of itself.
