WRW #17A: Corridor Bend P’n’G
This park ‘n’ grab cache, a small black-taped, lock-capped (align the arrows to unlock) dispensing pot, is hidden at a location along the Dales Way long-distance footpath where the river Wharfe, the Old Ilkley Road/Dales Way and the main A65 Skipton Road converge close to a bend (which also holds the westernmost holes of the Ilkley Golf Course) in the river with the Dales Way in the middle of this ‘corridor’.
From the cache there is a fine view up and down the river and so you might be able to spot some local wild-life.
To reach the cache location:park just off road at N 53 55.991 W 1 51.728 on the west side of Old Ilkley Road and cross over to the cache location some 60m to the north.
