One of 12 Challenge Caches set around Park Wood, the cache being at the given coordinates. There are many paths and trails through these woodlands. The circuit is almost circular and the recommended route would be to tackle the caches in “chronological order” from 2001 to 2012. You should allow 3 to 4 hours to collect the full series.
These challenge caches may favour those who have been caching for some years, or simply those who enjoy seeking out the older hides out there. Each challenge requires you to find a minimum number of caches in each month of the year highlighted in the challenge; the number of caches required relates to the year in question. For year 2001 you will need to have found a minimum of one cache in each month. For year 2002 you will need to have found a minimum of two caches in each month, and so on, until year 2012 when you will need to have found a minimum of twelve caches in each month.
This challenge is for 2001 so you will need to have found a minimum of one cache in each month. Filling your year 2001 Jasmer line is a tough challenge. At the time of publication, there are 76 x 2001 caches in the UK, covering all months except for March 01....so you will need to have either travelled elsewhere, or been around in the early days of UK geocaching to find one of the three March 2001 caches now archived, in order to tick that tricky Jasmer box.
Here's my Jasmer grid highlighting my 2001 line :
