Geocache Description:

Cette grille fut installée par la famille de Kergariou à l'entrée de l'avenue du château de Bonaban à la Gouesnière en 1842.
Elle était ornée des armoiries de la famille Mortemart et de la famille Kergariou,
A la vente du château, en 1936, Monsieur Yvonnick de la Chesnais qui était devenu le gérant du Bois Renou
déplaça la grille à l' entrée.
Dans les années 1990 Monsieur de la Chesnais décida de la restaurer et de la placer à l'entrée de
son château au Domaine des Ormes à Epiniac.
Désormais, cette grille est ornée des armoiries des familles Houitte de La Chesnais et Trogoff .

This grid was installed by the family of Kergariou at the entrance of the avenue of the castle of Bonaban at Gouesnière in 1842.
It was decorated with the coat of arms of the Mortemart family and the Kergariou family,
At the sale of the castle in 1936, Yvonnick de la Chesnais who had become the manager of Bois Renou
shifted the gate to the entrance.
In the 1990s, Monsieur de la Chesnais decided to restore it and place it at the entrance of
his castle at Domaine des Ormes in Epiniac.
