Hastings & Prince Edward Regiment Memorial Garden

The Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment is an Army Reserve infantry unit within the 33 Canadian Brigade Group. Affectionately known as the “Hasty P’s”, the Regiment operates in three locations across central Ontario in Belleville, Peterborough and Cobourg. The Regiment is currently under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel Chris Comeau.

“The Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment was very moved to see this Parkette and monument recognizing the generations of sacrifice of our men and women as well as the ongoing and exemplary work that members of the Regiment are currently doing here at home and overseas ,” said Comeau. “Today’s Hasty P’s continue to earn a reputation as competent professionals among their peers in the Canadian Armed Forces and dedicated community leaders as Reserve citizen soldiers.  It is humbling to see that the City of Belleville is as proud of their Regiment as we are.”

The Hastings and Prince Edward Regimental Armoury is located in Belleville at the corner of Bridge St. E. and Pinnacle St. in downtown Belleville. The Regiment has a museum at the Armoury that is open to the public on Tuesdays from 1pm to 4pm.
