This is the first of 3 Geocaches hidden to mark the restoration of the Jellicoe Water Garden. To find the coordinates for this cache go to the information board at the given coordinates. The final cache location is N51 45.1A W000 28.4B..... A= The last 2 digits of the year that Mr Jellicoe died..... B= Add together the number of feet squared of the FR Emett mosaic and the last 2 digits of the year that the Hemel Hempstead Grammar school opened.
The Jellicoe Water Gardens were designed by the Landscape Architect Sir Geoffrey Jellicoe (1900 – 1996) recognised internationally as one of the leading Landscape Architects of the 20th century. The Water Gardens were one of his most important projects. The Jellicoe Water Gardens run alongside the Leighton Buzzard road from The Plough roundabout (magic roundabout) to Combe Street in Hemel Hempstead.
