Geocache Description:

This will be a one mile paddle from the boat launch. Cache is a camoed film canister hanging over the water. You will be under the cache if you are next to a 5 foot mossy boulder.

Always, pay attention to the weather. This is a relatively short paddle, but you will be crossing the northernmost part of a long lake, so witth a southerly breeze the waves can build up quickly. This four acre island was gifted to the Upper Saco Valley Land Trust, so it will remain wild into the future. I saw a young Bald Eagle fly over it and of course, loons use this lake as well.
