Geocache Description:

Quick find, small container, sheltered area, potentially high muggle zone, lit path at night.

This cache is a fairly easy find that will hopefully bring more visitors to the new PATH Parkway trail. The trail was built through a partnership between PATH, the City of Atlanta, and Georgia Tech, who will open the PATH Parkway in Fall 2017. The trail is a tree-lined walking and biking facility connecting West Midtown, Georgia Tech, and the Coca-Cola headquarters to Centennial Olympic Park. The PATH Parkway trail has nice a row of trees and greenery that divides a bikeway and a walkway. The trees provide shade for most of the route in this section of the path.

At this section of the trail, structures that were built when the roads and walkways travelled along very different trajectories can be found: old guard rails that are not needed, and an old wooden staircase, trees growing out of its steps. No longer needed, these structures that are left behind tell us something about how this area has changed over the years.

Congratulations to kurokitty for obtaining the FTF for this cache!
