Before starting on this puzzle, you must have correctly solved the following puzzles in the ☯ series - Aristotle's Dilemma, Camoflauge, Decoy, Mutualism, Reflection and Shorthand.

To find the cache you will need to solve the following:

If you have lived in the Hawkesbury you would have no doubt heard about the reports of the Hawkesbury Panther. In fact, in 2013 when the government declared the Blue Mountains big cat file closed, there had been 173 sightings reported in the Hawkesbury LGA. This figure far exceeded the additional 154 total sightings in 16 surrounding LGAs, thus concluding the panther's den lies somewhere within the Hawkesbury. To this day, sighting of the infamous Hawkesbury Panther are still being made.

Over recent months there have been four crucial sightings which will help you pinpoint the location of the panther den:

  1. Whilst travelling along the Hawkesbury River by boat, some locals sighted the panther on the banks. It is said that this point (Point A) can be calculated from Shorthand (GZS) if you projected yourself 3.65km on the same bearing as if you drew a line between GZS and Aristotle's Dilemma (GZAD).
  2. A day later another sighting was made on a property along Lower Colo Road at S33 26.652 E150 51.908. We will call this Point B.
  3. At the intersection of four cache ground zeros a sighting was made of the Hawkesbury panther whilst scouting for potential cache hides for this series. This location is between Decoy (GZD) & Camoflauge (GZC) and Mutualism (GZM) & Reflection (GZR). We will now called this intersection Point X.
  4. Several weeks ago there was a reported sighting just off a dirt road on a property along West Portland Road at S33 26.629 E150 52.541. Lets call this Point Y.

The panthers den can be calculated at the intersection of two lines which lie between points A & B and points X & Y respectively.

This cache is #45 in the ☯ series
