Kobus ellipsiprymnus

Large, sturdy antelope with a rough, woolly hide. It has a clear white ring around the backside.

Only the bull has slightly bent forward horns. Terratorial bulls are dominant over groups of cows and calves.

Mostly found near water and feeds on grass and leaves.

Height: 130 cm
Length: 180 cm
Horns: 75 cm
Weight: Males 230 kg, females 230 kg.
