Sylvicapra grimmia

Small, grey brownish antelope with a stocky build. The black mark on the forehead and snout is diagnostic.

Only the ram bears horns.

Mainly active by sunset and during the night. They are loners or sometimes found as pairs. Very territorial.

Feeds on a variety of shrubs.

Height: 50 cm
Length: 90 cm
Horns: 10 cm
Weight: 18 kg.
